TYPES OF MASKS
- Cream mask - An oil in water emulsion that
contains water-soluble ingredients as the main
components.
- Cream mask with Clay - Clay lends the
benefits of balancing, tightening, and
additional absorption to a cream mask.
- Gel mask - A mask in gel form increases the
moisture content of the skin.
How to Use a Mask
Masks can be utilized once to twice a week
depending on skin type and condition. After
cleansing and exfoliation, apply mask to
moistened skin. Best results are achieved when
the skin has been steamed previously, as well
as, with the use of an
ampoule.
However, steam
and
ampoules
are not necessary to achieve good results. Most
masks are left on for 10 to 20 minutes. Rinse
completely with lukewarm water and follow with
the use of a
toner
and
moisturizer.
